This way they\u2019ll be able to maximise their value. The last decade Oman has been drastically accelerating development of industrial and logistics hubs in port cities such as Sohar and Duqm.<br \/>\nAbdul Amir al Ajmi told The National in Abu Dhabi a few promising words. \u201cWe found lots of appetite from local PDO contractors for these. Each park will be five million square metres &#8211; so a total of 10 million square metres, extendable hopefully in the future and now we\u2019re looking for strategic partners as anchor tenants to bring other supply chains. Hopefully, sometime next year in quarter two, we\u2019ll award this project.\u201d<br \/>\nSince the expansion there has been a close relationship between the government and PDO. They have been working together to bring all sorts of different tenants into Duqm. Once these projects are finished, the acceleration of tenants to Duqm will speed up even more, it\u2019ll also be a great way for international contractors and suppliers to save a lot of time and effort.<br \/>\nThe Port of Duqm is located on the southeastern seabed of Oman and is planned to become a hub for multimodal logistics services.
