Als \u2018business facilitator\u2019 steekt MEYALUX heel wat energie in het cre\u00ebren van een politiek en economisch platform om de Europese zakenwereld te connecteren met het Midden-Oosten.<\/p>\n<p>De netwerklunch van de ABLCC startte met een korte intro door Mr. Johan Verkammen, Director Middle East &amp; North Africa \u2013 Buitenlandse Zaken, die de nadruk legde op de economische opdracht van de Belgische diplomatie. Mr Verkammen verwees naar de 4 \u201cI\u2019s\u201d: Informeren, Introduceren, Interveni\u00ebren en het promoten van het Belgische Imago. En laat dit nu ook deel uitmaken van het DNA en de missie van MEYALUX.<br \/>\nJohan Verkammen promootte ook de \u201cTrade4U\u201d-app van het Belgische Agentschap voor Buitenlandse Handel, die een overzicht biedt van lopende aanbestedingen en economische informatie aanbiedt. Het Belgische Ministerie van Buitenlandse zaken intensifieert haar inspanningen om de handelrelaties tussen de Arabische wereld en Belgi\u00eb te verbeteren. In dat verband staan een aantal interessante zakelijke missies op het programma in 2018. H.K.H. Prinses Astrid zal onder andere Marokko en Egypte aandoen dit jaar. MEYALUX neemt daarin haar vitale rol op als professionele consultant die Belgische bedrijven adviseert in hun internationalisatieproces richting Midden-Oosten.<br \/>\nIn de marge van dit event had MEYALUX-founder Yasmine Alfawaz gesprekken met tal van bedrijven die aan de vooravond staan van expansie richting Midden-Oosten. En ze had ook de eer om contacten te leggen op het hoogste diplomatieke niveau. H.E. Mrs. Dominique Mineur, Belgisch Ambassadeur voor de V.A.E. en recent aangesteld tot de eerste vrouwelijke Ambassadeur voor Saoedi-Arabi\u00eb, nam uitgebreid de tijd voor een babbel. En ook de huidige Ambassadeur daar, H.E. Mr. Geert Criel, deelde zijn ervaringen met Mevr. Mr. Verkammen referred to the 4 \u201cI\u2019s\u201d: to Inform, to Introduce, to Intervene and to promote the Image of Belgium.<\/p><p><em>\u00ab We encourage our embassies and consulates abroad to feed us with relevant economic information, which is dispatched to our regional bodies and to our companies.\u201d<\/em>, said Mr Verkammen. He also mentioned the application \u201cTrade4U\u201d which is run by the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency and which provides economic information and opportunities.<\/p><p>The Belgian Ministry of foreign affairs works towards enhancing its foreign trade relations with the Arab world, the result would be several Trade missions to Arabic countries in 2018. Her Highness Princess Astrid will be, amongst others, heading to Morocco and Egypt this year and other countries. Within this context, MEYALUX takes its vital role as a professional consulting body that advises Belgian companies in their process of internationalization towards the Middle East.<\/p><p>In the margin of this event, MEYALUX founder Mrs. Yasmine Fawaz had talks with several companies preparing to expand to the Middle EAST, also she had talks on the highest diplomatic level with H.E. Mrs. Dominique Mineur, Belgian Ambassador to the United Arab Emarits and recently appointed as the first future female Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The current Belgian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, H.E.
